Located near San Jose State University and in a historically rich area, the context and character of the site influenced the final designs. Taking cues from the architectural styles of the neighborhood, the project reflects the area’s history while providing a sense of place. The existing 40 foot trees were saved to create a unique central park which serves as a common front yard for residents to enjoy.
